I haven't seen much of them, but I like to make up my own patterns whenever I can.

Crochet in Retail

I'm a HUGE lover of clothing and style. I may not be a major spender, but I still love to look and gawk and window shop from time to time.

Crochet is becoming super popular in stores lately, and now that I kind of have a knack for that skill, I like to look at these garments and wonder if I could make them myself. It's kind of cool to think that I could save all kinds of money and look great doing it :]

Here comes the bride... or not

I'm getting a kick out of this Barbie clothing stuff!
It has a lot to do with the fact that I have a niece who happens to be crazy about Barbie.

All her dolls are single now, Mr. Right has yet to grace the toy box with his presence.
BUT, that does not mean Barbie 1, 2 + 3 can't be fitted for their wedding gowns this early!

I'm prepared to make up my own pattern. Maybe I'll try it tomorrow.
Whatever I come up with may not be as extravagant as these, but I still like to aim for higher goals ;]

My First Stab At Doll Clothing

Today I found myself bored with no internet, and a naked barbie doll. Since I ALWAYS bring my yarn and hooks with me, of course I had to seize this opportunity.

Because I made them as I went along, I have no pattern for you. Hopefully I can re-create these and I'll have a tutorial later :D

Crochet Eiffel Tower Inspiration

New Pattern

I've seen these babies EVERYWHERE.

They're called cocoons. Or wraps. Or swaddles.
I like cocoon better.
This one came from Etsy, but being me, I don't like to pay for anything if I can find a (legal, haha) way to have it-or something like it- for free.

Since I like being original, I decided to give it a go on my own, and make up a pattern:

It took FOREVER, but it was easy enough. The pattern I created is really monotonous towards the end, but hey, that just means it's easier! 

We all like that word a lot.

So, I'll get my wonky thoughts and notes in order on this one, and I'll have a free pattern for you soon!
